Muscle keeps us strong, balanced, and functional for as long as possible. Not to mention, it optimizes our immune system, cardiovascular/circulatory capacity, mental health, and so much more!

As we get older, we lose muscle and have to work harder to maintain it. It’s not fair, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Look for ways to incorporate it into your daily routine. Start small, maybe with resistance bands, a few minutes, twice weekly and build from there.

Micro-habits become consistent habits that become lifestyle habits.

Building muscle may be one of the most important things you can do to live longer and improve quality of life (aka keep you functional and independent).
