I believe we better absorb our thoughts and intentions when writing it down on paper.

The majority of us learn best through multiple methods— seeing, speaking, hearing, and writing. The more we can absorb the written word, the more we believe it to be true, and the more likely we are to drive our thoughts into reality.

In the morning, writing down the day’s workout, mantra, and gratitude, followed by anything on your mind or upcoming schedule starts the day with motivation, energy, and intention.

Before bed, brain dumping is a useful tactic to transfer energy to paper. Keeping a journal, legal pad, etc. at your bedside allows easy access to write down thoughts that pop into your head at night and avoid bright screens (e.g. your phone) which affect melatonin production and sleep quality.

We may live in the age of technology but do not neglect the power of pen on paper.
