Finding a space and committing to quiet time must be intentional for the busy parent, professional, and person on-the-go.

Carving out quiet time is a habit that needs to be flexed to ease stress, improve mental clarity, and physical well being.

High levels of stress over prolonged period of time ages us. Many things in life are out of our control, but we have the power to decide how we incorporate this time.

I had difficulty finding time during the day to consistently commit to quiet time. What I have found works best for me is waking up an hour before my boys for a 20 minute workout, a 20 minute meditation/journal entry, and a 20 minute personal/professional growth book or podcast. I was inspired by the @5am.club_ which has really transformed my daily life.

While this early morning routine is not for all, you have to find what works best for you. Even a 1 minute breathing exercise can help calm the nervous system and reset your energy.

Plan out your quiet time, get into a consistent rhythm, and reset to #agebetter
